The sex of a baby is determined by the sperm of the man, which can be male or female and not controlled by biological mechanisms. Women’s eggs are all female.
The sperm produced by a man lives for five days whereas the ovum produced by female lives for only one day.
Women (or their bodies) are not responsible for determining the sex of the baby.
Men (or their bodies) are not responsible for determining the sex of the baby.
Children are a gift that should be cherished, regardless of their sex.
“Everyone is happy. Men who’ve had daughters are really happy. They faulted women for having girls in the past, but they’ve realized their mistake.”
RESHMA KHATRI, CHAMPION
“When it’s taught to them through games, students understand quicker. We say XX and XY chromosomes, but with the simple use of seeds, students understand everything very easily. What would take hours to teach can be taught in two minutes here.”
SRIVANARAYAN YADAV, HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
“People used to blame women, thinking that they had a role in deciding the gender of the child. But most people know now, because of the program, that it is mainly men who determine the gender and no one is to blame. I feel that this is one of the biggest changes.”
